We can only be successful in keeping our children safe online if we work together to ensure the Internet safety message is consistent.

We would therefore like to invite you to an Internet Safety session for parents and carers on Wednesday 12th February at 3:30pm in the small hall. This will follow on from our whole school celebration of Safer Internet Day on Tuesday 11th February.

The session will be delivered by Eric Barrett, School Liaison Officer at Cleveland Police, and will last approximately 45 minutes. During the session, Eric will provide practical advice on areas such as how to manage online safety, privacy settings and parental controls, protecting personal information, and risks associated with games and apps such as Fortnite, Snapchat and Instagram.

As some of the content is unsuitable for children, we ask that you do not bring children to the session. However, we are able to provide childcare if required.

Please contact the school office via email (yarm@yarmprimary.org.uk) to book your place.
