The annual National Poetry Day will soon be upon us (Thursday 1st October) and here at Yarm Primary, we have a number of exciting opportunities planned to promote a love of reading and writing poetry. Classes will explore poems linked to this year's theme of 'Vision' and despite social distancing and children being in year group bubbles, they will hopefully get the chance to listen to different teachers sharing their favourite poems through video link. It's all set to be a fantastic day!
