This week in school, we focussed on 'kindness' in PSHE and Circle Time lessons. Children discussed how unkind behaviour and actions can lead to others feeling left out, upset and unhappy and how we should always make sure we behave and act kindly to one another instead. Children came up with examples of being kind such as saying positive comments, sharing equipment, including others in games, giving money to charity and even just offering a simple smile to make someone feel better.  Children in Key Stage 2 designed eye-catching posters to get these messages across.

In Friday's House Points assembly, teachers selected their winning 'Kindness Poster' for each class in Key Stage 2 and these children were awarded 50 house points for their house team. What an amazing effort! We're certain that you will see straightaway why these posters were chosen: they're colourful and communicate some very important messages.

Let's all spread a little kindness to others each and every day.
