On behalf of School Council, I would like to THANK all the families who sent in cakes for the competition. 

In true WI fashion, the group identified their criteria:

  • Appeal/appearance
  • Effort
  • Vibrant flavour
  • Texture.

They did a 'blind' tasting and scored each cake individually.

Scores were then added up and a winner identified!!

The two cakes who tied for second place receive the School Council commendation - well done to the Smith & Laird families. 

Thank you to everyone else who entered - we really appreciate the efforts you made.

Pictures of the cakes will be displayed in the main entrance for all to see!

AND the winner.... the Thurrell Hynes family with their topical World Cup cake which not only looked great but tasted great too!
