Year 4 visited our local secondary school today for a lesson on light and sound. We had great fun exploring sound waves and learning how light travels. We were able to view the spectrum of light by wearing light refracting goggles and observed how light can be reflected by using a laser beam. We all learnt lots of new facts and were able to impress the teacher with our prior knowledge. The teacher sales showed us how to turn a 2p copper coloured coin into a golden coin by dipping it in an alloy. Our best scientist of the day was presented with the coin. Well done, Year 4.
