Year 4 have been very busy this week engaging in lots of cross-curricular activities linked to our Viking topic. We studied the the design and characteristics of Viking shields and then created our own versions. We also looked at how archaeologists and scientists work together to find out about what happened in the past. Looking closely at the contents of our Viking digestive sample we were able to work out what types of foods they ate. We are also very impressed with the quality of the homework you are producing at home. Well done, Year 4 - a very busy week!
