Welcome back!

It’s been a busy week across school, welcoming everyone back after the holiday and making a great start to the new year.

We have been talking about our New Years resolutions about learning , making a difference and beautiful work.

I have been really lucky today to spend my time with our Y6 pupils –  this morning at Crucial Crew and this afternoon electing our new School Council, Head Girl & Head Boy.

I was so impressed by all the children who took the risk and put themselves forward in the elections – over half the year group. The presentations were fabulous, with people taking the process seriously and speaking with great enthusiasm and authenticity. Congratulations to everyone who was elected but also a huge well done to everyone who  tried – you are all winners!

I look forward to our first School Council meeting next week.
