This week reception went on a bear hunt around the school on the search for our very own bear. Before the hunt we came up with a list of things we would need to take with us. We went through the long wavy grass, thick oozy mud, swirling snowstorm and dark gloomy cave.
We used our senses on the walk to see what we could hear, see, smell and touch.
We finally made it back to the classroom without the bear catching us and then we described a character and a scene from the story.
