This week we have been thinking about Autumn so we went on a walk to explore the changes that happen at this time of year.

We learned a song called ‘Autumn leaves are falling down’ to the tune of ‘London Bridge is falling down’. Why don’t you see if your child can remember it? We also used frames and different materials such as leaves, twigs, pine cones, conkers and paint to make our own autumnal pictures.

As well as reading stories linked to hedgehogs,  we made fondant icing hedgehogs and enjoyed counting the chocolate spikes. This was a lot of fun! Our number of the week is 6 and we’ve been learning about 2D shapes.

Just a reminder that it is our trip to Stewart Park next week and we are very much looking forward to seeing what we can spot there!
