This week we have been thinking about all the different jobs people do and what we would like to be when we grow up. We’ve even dressed up as the people we would like to be. At this age anything is possible and we are reaching for the stars!
In Literacy we are sharing a book called Blue Penguin and using illustrations and text to discuss how Blue Penguin feels about being different to all the other penguins. We are fabulous at recognising when somebody is sad and thinking of ways to help them!
We have also been recognising the initial sounds in words and sorting objects that start with the same sound. Can you tell your Cow from your Scissors? Or your Cup from your Spoon?
In Maths we’ve been exploring the number 10 and all the different ways you can make the number.
We’ve also been very busy with other top secret things in preparation for Christmas!
