This week in Nursery, we have been busy celebrating Chinese New Year.
We enjoyed eating egg fried rice using chopsticks, making dragon masks and then coming up with our own dragon dances. We tried on traditional Chinese clothes and explored Chinese artefacts, artwork and ornaments.
We now know what animal we are in the Chinese calendar too!
As well as this we have been busy completing a story map for our class book, The Problem with Penguins, and sharing our scribed penguin stories with our friends. We have also seen a lot of ‘Metal Mike’ who continues to teach us how he speaks!
