Bookshop v library? Which do you prefer?

Year 4 had a lovely morning visiting our local Waterstones bookshop where we were made most welcome by the staff. We enjoyed a fun quiz, a book hunt and listened to a very funny story. We loved browsing among so many lovely books.

We then went to our local library where we spent our DEAR time reading the wonderful range of books  on offer. It was such a peaceful time as we all read our chosen book.

Finally, we walked back to school in the glorious spring sunshine with our new and borrowed books. What a wonderful morning ands a great way to celebrate our Reading Initiative. Year 4 don’t need  any encouragement to read! We love reading!
