This week has been Science week.

We helped the third little pig investigate which material would be the best for building his house.

We answered three questions:

What should the 3rd pig use to build his roof?

What should the 3rd pig use to build his walls?

What should the 3rd pig use to build his windows?

The Children worked in groups to test a variety of materials:

  • They flicked water over different material to see if it was water resistant
  • Then they pulled and pushed the material to test its flexibility
  • They checked if the material was strong by pulling it with their partner
  • They then tested how heavy a material was by comparing it against different materials.

Children then recorded their findings in their Science books.

We had a great time helping the third little pig!!!!
