Last week we created the background for our seaside picture using water colours.
First we created the sand using different shades of yellow and brown.
After that we used blues and purples to create the sea.
Finally we coloured in the sky using pale blue water colours and lots of water to create a sky effect.
We left them to dry and came back to them this week. They looked great!
Today we have added the different features that make the seaside what it is today. We drew the features on card, cut them out and placed them in the correct place on our water colour.
Our pictures look great!
