Yesterday Y3AS went on our final trip of the year.
We started the day with a stroll into Yarm, walking down by the river.
We took the boat down to Preston Park. It was fun. We were looking for unusual wildlife as we have been reliably informed that there are seals in the River Tees these days. We didn’t see any seals but we did see a man in a wet suit swimming to work!! Apparently he does this every day!
Our task at Preston Park was to complete an Orienteering course. Some of us had done this before but for many of us this was our first time. It was fun.
Packed lunches were next and then we even had a chance to play in the park before heading back for the boat.
Next, we sailed back to Yarm but unfortunately we still couldn’t spot any seals. We did see other people on kayaks and we waved as we went by.
When we arrived in Yarm we visited Treats for an ice cream to eat as we strolled back to school!
A great day had by all.
