This week Nursery have been learning all about rockets. We learnt about an astronaut called Tim Peake who travelled to the International Space Station in a rocket. We watched Tim Peake's rocket launch on You Tube. We learnt that the International Space Station is a satellite and we looked at what life is like living in the ISS. The children designed and made their own rocket using junk materials. We investigated what sorts of foods astronauts ate while in space and found out that they take a variety of dried foods with them. We made and tasted our own 'Space Soup' which was delicious!!
