As part of our work for British Science Week, Year 4 have been testing different materials to see if they were good thermal insulators. We then designed a prototype for a thermal jacket that could be worn in Antarctica using the best materials. Our designs were excellent and included lots of extra items  such as  pockets for iPads, thermal heating pads, whistles and emergency blankets. What inventive children!
