Nursery have been learning about Machines this week. We have read a story called 'The Story Machine' which was about a little boy called Elliot who found a strange looking machine in a box in his attic. As he explored the strange machine he discovered that it was able to type letters and words. His letters and words turned into stories. He called the machine his story machine! The story Machine turned out to be a type writer! The children enjoyed looking at a real type writer and finding out how it works!
The children have also been using tools such as screwdrivers to take apart old machines to find out what was inside and how they work. The children found this fascinating!!
