This week Nursery have been learning about how things grow. We talked about how we grow from a baby to a child and then to an adult and how we change and grow taller. We talked about how all living things grow - humans, animals, plants and trees. The children learnt what is needed for each of these things to grow and be healthy. We planted sunflower seeds learning the importance of the seed needing to be in soil, having water and sunlight. These are what your child brought home today to look after. We suggested to the children that they could take some photographs of the plant as it grows and these could be sent into school for them to share with the class.
