This morning the children were treated to a visit from two local historians with a passion for World War 2.
We made further links with Goodnight Mr Tom which really helped to reinforce the learning.
We learnt about rationing, evacuation and Christmas presents.
It was safe to say that not all children were keen on some of the foods!
The children really impressed us with the way in which they asked and answered questions.
