Year 6 have been deepening their knowledge of WW2 by making authentic recipes from the period as part of looking at Christmas on the home front. Our great cook Dawn helped everyone get involved and used our local historian friends Jan & Richards recipes for Christmas pudding, cake and ration buns. There were mixed reviews on the end products (!) but everyone got involved and made a wish stirring the pudding…
