Frida Kahlo
We have been learning about the artist Frida Kahlo. She has painted many portraits, self-portraits and works inspired by the nature and artifacts of Mexico. We decided to recreate some of her work by doing observational painting and drawings of fruit. We also ate it when we were finished. Yum
Evaporation experiments
Year 4 have been setting up evaporation experiments as part of our work on States of Matter. We are learning how to set up and record a scientific investigation. We have made a prediction, set up a fair test and we are looking forward to finding out the results next week.

Drop Everything And Read

Year 4 are ‘climbing’ Mount Everest.We have a step in class that measures 30cm high. Therefore, for every 10 steps we perform we have climbed 3m up the mountain. Every spare moment we have, we add a few more metres to our total. After the first week, we have climbed a total of 619m. It’s harder…
